Australia ranks first globally in per-capita cryptocurrency interest, according to web-traffic data from Andreessen Horowitz’s crypto division. The study analyzed visits to the top 30 CoinGecko token pages (excluding Bitcoin and stablecoins).

Australians recorded 74.63% token-related web traffic per 1 billion people, followed by South Korea (73.48%) and the UK (62.15%). The U.S. trailed with 40.73%, indicating relatively lower engagement.

The report also noted that users in developed countries primarily focus on trading and speculation, while those in developing nations tend to engage more in on-chain activity via mobile wallets.
